An Engagement Party Inspired by Chocolate

chocolate-engagement-party-01

Here’s a sweet idea for your engagement party for the couple that loves chocolate (or maybe even a bridal shower if the bride loves chocolate)! And for those of you out there that love chocolate, here is a fun fact about me you probably didn’t know – my mom worked as a chemist for Hershey Chocolate and I grew up right outside Hershey PA – where yes, the town does smell like chocolate (at least by the factories!). Probably sounds great to a lot of you, but I’m not really a chocolate fan! I know, what are the odds??! Well, I know I’m in the minority here on the chocolate, and I think a lot of couples would love this idea!

Thanks so much to LeilaGianna who came up with the fun idea! Using vintage props, food/desserts all made with chocolate, bold colors in the floral, and decadent stationery elements, their vision came to life. And how amazing are Lane Dittoe‘s dreamy photos? Love it!

I adore their dessert table made of frames – what a fun idea! And totally doable for even your wedding (and the best part – you could use these frames in your house after the wedding!) Chocolate lovers can feast their eyes on mini brownies, french macarons, chocolate covered pretzel rods, and dessert shots.

Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, CA is the perfect spot for an intimate party (and I can attest as I’ve been to a party here!) The outdoor modern elements complement whimsy and fun perfectly.
