An Autumn Sunset Bridal Soiree

bridal soiree inspiration

Today’s styled shoot provides perfect inspiration for those of you who are planning a bridal soiree to ask your gals to be by your side on your big day, or want to thank them for all they’ve done for you during the planning process! The Confetti Committee + Gypsy Floral did the most incredible job of producing a party that is filled with lots of beautiful + intentional details that we know you’re going to love. We imagine an intimate outdoor picnic where you + your ladies could make flower crowns, sip yummy cocktails and, of course, enjoy some delicious cake, too! And while this editorial is inspired by fall, we think you could take the overall concept and apply it to any season or theme with just a few small tweaks! Here’s a bit more from Loft Photographie, the talent behind the lens on this one:

With a color palette inspired by the warm tones of a sunset, we wanted to breathe some fresh air into an autumn-themed bridesmaid soiree. Giving nature a makeover, we hand painted wood slices, acorns, and sticks to lend a whimsical touch to an otherwise very earthy setting. We incorporated figs, herbs, peaches, pears, pomegranates and other fall “must’s” into the decor by including them around the naked cake and in floral arrangements.

And while I love Spring + all the abundance of beautiful flowers available at that time, there is something about the colors + textures of fall arrangements that make my jaw drop every time. These lovelies by Gypsy Floral are definitely no exception! Just gorgeous…

The little vintage bottles filled with blooms are so cute – and would be so easy to DIY!

Michelle’s Patisserie baked a charming naked cake + as Loft Photographie mentioned earlier, the wood slices were hand-painted by a bunch of the creatives involved with the shoot. Such a fun backdrop idea!

  1. This is soooo adorable! love it. Styled super well <3

  2. A beautiful styled shoot! I like how they used traditional Fall colours like brown, rust and red as the foundation but softened everything with touches of soft pinks, creams and yellows. It makes for a very romantic and whimsical feeling.

  3. Thank you so much for the feature!!

  4. Flawless styling and some truly awesome diy in there!

  5. We’ll never be able to swing in an un-adorned swing again : ) Thanks for publishing!

  6. Thank y’all SO MUCH for the feature!

  7. gorgeous colors, great photographs of pure beauty. i love it.

  8. Fantastic idea to have a “thank you” get together for your bridesmaids. As many a rom-com will tell you, they often get taken for granted.

  9. So enchanting! I love it! <3
