We’re simply awestruck by today’s elopement inspiration at the Big Four Ice Caves in Washington! This wintry landscape is one of the many wonders of the Pacific Northwest… For the couple that wants to have an incredible elopement shoot without going abroad to somewhere like Iceland, this place may just be for you! Dawn Photography tells us The day we decided to go out there, just so happened to be after a little snow storm. The roads weren’t too bad, so we decided to make it happen. The nice part about having the snow storm was that we had the Ice Caves all to ourselves.
Grab a blanket + some hot cocoa — we’re pretty sure this elopement inspiration will give you chills (in the best way possible)!
WOAH. Right?!
Like a dream…
Real life couple, Cheyenne + Christian, served as the sweethearts eloping for this styled shoot. Playing off of the icy location, she wore a watercolor blue skirt from Sweet Caroline Styles.
The subdued hues of the florals by Seventh Stem complement the skirt so well, along with the wintry landscape.
Fun Fact: The Ice Caves are formed by melting snow at the base of an avalanche chute. Here, you can see one of the waterfalls that carves out the cave. Though they are incredible, if you’re visiting — take caution and pay attention to warnings as this area is known for its unpredictable weather + elements.
That lace top is also from Sweet Caroline Styles.
So, so dreamy. Who else can’t believe that this is in the Pacific Northwest? A huge thank you to Dawn Photography for sharing!

“Jaw, meet Floor.”
Holy cow. Her skirt, those ice caves. There is just so much to take in and it’s all lovely.
The colors for this are so on point. This is really well done.
Fantastic images!
her dress and the landscape are unreal
Wow, these are breath taking!
The wedding pictures are just stunning. Love the bride’s outfit too!
The Big Four Ice Caves are so incredibly beautiful, but it’s also worth noting that they are highly dangerous. There is signage everywhere here that you should not stand in or near them because they are prone to collapsing or small avalanches.
WOW. What a place.
Very beautiful ! That look like a magical movie!
Awesome, I really want to do elopements in Iceland
So unique!
Love the dress… and that bouquet is amazing!
