A Wedding Skate + Cake

What’s a skate + cake you ask? Well, Carrie + Pat live in Hawaii, but got married in California and were looking for a fun way to celebrate their wedding with all their friends in Hawaii who couldn’t make it to the wedding. What’s a fun creative couple to do!? How about putting back on your wedding clothes and throwing a Skate + Cake celebration! I love that they incorporated their love for skateboarding into the day – and it made for some great photos! Congrats you two and thanks to Mark at Holladay Photo for sending over their story and photos.

  14. The dress is from Mon Amie bridal salon in Costa Mesa, it was originally strapless and their seamstressmade the sleeves with fabric from the bottom of the original dress. The dress really helped make the shoot.
