Our team is getting so excited for Barcelona Bridal Week, which is coming up FAST, and what better way to get even more ready for the shows than with a preview we can all enjoy today, of the stunning 2017 Bridal Collection from Atelier Pronovias!
In the 2017 Collection from Pronovias, brides can expect the finest of fabrics with hand-embroidery, sophisticatedly embellished with glints of gold, a plethora of new elegant cuts, patterns and necklines, and a lighter feel than last year’s styles – offering up exceptionally clean silhouettes and an extremely light, optical effect.
Designed by the firm’s creative director, Hervé Moreau, the new collection features several patterns that fall into three groups – Empire, Mermaid and Voluminous – offering the perfect style for any type of bride. Let’s take a peek at the 2017 Collection now…
The back of the dress is a major focal point in the new collection, sometimes embellished with gemstones and delicate hand-embroidery or with appliqués of plumeti tulle – so beloved in the world of haute couture.
Fine fabrics add to the charm of these pure, imaginative creations. Lace, the essence of the firm, is applied lightly. Wonderful use has been made of Chantilly, which cascades over these garments like strategic brush strokes, defining designs and flattering the figure.
The trend is back for large trains, which can be removed after the ceremony to make the dress suitable to wear during the party. The color palette is traditionally bridal, starting with pure, luminous white and drifting through its many shades.
