We’ve long been fans of Twigs & Honey, so it is such a treat to get to share their latest bridal collection, captured gorgeously by Elizabeth Messina, with you all today! The new collection features three new full length gowns, one short getaway/reception dress, beautiful lingerie pieces + cover-ups, and lots of new accessories…practically 60 new stunning styles! All of Twigs & Honey‘s bridal gowns and lingerie pieces are handmade in the U.S.A., and they’re also introducing earrings for the first time this season, all of which are completely handmade in their studio with hand-set crystals and hand-painted details.
Founder + designer, Myra, shares her collection inspiration with us, This season, I was inspired by regal vintage styles and jewelry. I wanted to create modern designs that looked as though they had been passed down through the generations. I was particularly drawn toward art nouveau and art deco themes with highly detailed pieces featuring clean and bold shapes. I married this with my continual passion (and background) for the natural environment by making pieces with floral and garden themes that were not overly “flowery”.
Since Myra was so inspired by jewelry, it only made sense to include Sofia Kaman for the editorial to make sure the gowns + accessories were styled with beautiful jewels – and check back in a bit to see even more from Sofia!
Our bridal gowns, cover ups and attire utilize delicate French lace and soft tulle. All the fits are with a focus on comfort and movability from a blousy lingerie top, drop waist getaway dress and daring center slit in our Petunia gown.
The gorgeous floral styling was by Art with Nature.
We are featuring a new antique gold finish to several designs, which give them an heirloom quality and feel.
