Winter Wedding Ideas: Snowed In

winter wedding ideas

One thing I love about winter weddings is the chance for pretty snow in photos and how everything inside feels all comfy and cozy. So romantic to snuggle up with your honey and watch the snow fall outside. And this winter inspiration shoot is all about that. :) Snuggling up with your honey and even bringing the feeling of snowfall indoors! The talented duo at Wednesday brought the snow indoors by creating an installation with 180 strands of marshmallows! So magical and super budget friendly. It also serves as a backdrop for photos and a ceremony. I love the interesting texture of the snow and the fluffiness is both playful and romantic.

The stationery here is a sneak peak suite from the ever growing wedding stationery collection by Wednesday. Brides can customize this suite and others with their info for their big day!

Rebecca’s Silver Rose designed all of the gorgeous floral arrangements. I love the richness of the colors, unexpected texture of the cotton and her creative use of dried gourds to hold the small arrangements.

I love that they added softness and contrast through textures in everything from the gorgeous gown designed by the ever-talented Meg Guess, the diy yarn garland, powdered sugar and the rustic and completely charming venue, White Dog Hill.

brunch bar

For their “snowed in theme,” what is more perfect than some delicious breakfast treats!? I love that they replaced the traditional cake table and dessert bar with mountains of pancakes, crepes, doughnut holes and other brunchy sweets. I’m such a fan of this idea since I love breakfast at any time of the day  – and what guest wouldn’t love to eat breakfast at a wedding! :)

And isn’t the yarn garland beautiful?! We are sharing a DIY on how to create them yourself later today, so be sure to check back. :)
