When Jessie woke up on the morning of her wedding, the weather forecast read “flooding rain, damaging winds, and hail all day and night.” Would you believe us if we told you that the skies (finally) parted mere minutes before their ceremony? Jessie + Chase’s wildflower Colorado wedding in the woods comes to us like a big, beautiful ray of sunshine!
With an incredibly helpful background in event planning + floral design, Jessie was well versed in all things wedding inspiration. She shares: The vendors, friends, and family that shared our day with us were so full of love and selflessness- they did such a wonderful job of celebrating us and making us feel so special and valued. We also had made the decision to stick together all night and spend every moment of the day together to experience all of the same things with one another. We made sure to enjoy what we wanted to enjoy and skipped out on some traditions that we didn’t care for.

I have always wanted a two-piece wedding dress, but hadn’t seen a ton of them out there. With some love and encouragement from my photographer, I decided to just go for it! In the end, I found two separate pieces from two different designers at Little White Dress Bridal Shop. It was a fun mix and match game, and I ended up having a blast with it!

Have fun with it! Everyone wants to tell you that wedding planning is the most stressful thing in the world- but it can actually be so much fun. Keep your heart centered on the meaning of all of it, and have fun with the details along the way!
Deep orange, mustard, + creamy yellow – yes! These are colors we love to see.
And just when we thought this Colorado wedding couldn’t be anymore our style, they roll out the wood-fired pizza truck from Mountain Crust. Mouth-watering!
