I absolutely love forest inspiration – maybe because Jason and I were married in the woods! :) Today’s lovely inspiration shoot takes place in the middle of the forest with lots of moss, ferns, and gold! A bit behind the inspiration from the designer Stefanie Cepeda: I’ve always thought of the forest as a magical place and I wanted to capture that sense of whimsy, magic, and life that the forest has. We created a dinner table filled with a table runner of ferns, golden woodland animals, and various jars of woodland treasures. We used lots of natural textures like moss, feathers and twine. Above the table we hung a chandelier of golden pine cones.
Hope this helps inspire those couples that love nature with a bit of whimsy!
There was a guest book table where guests could write a note for the couple and leave it in one of the drawers of a vintage shelf. They also set up favors of wildflower seed packets arranged in a drawer of the vintage shelf.
The bar featured a specialty cocktail called “heart of gold” – a mix of goldschlager & vodka. Specialty cheese and fruit were also arranged on a golden tray.
Thanks so much to all these creative artists for sharing their talents with us today!
