Hello! My name is Lauren and I am the lead videographer behind Lovebug Pictures. I split my time between Duke and CalArts studying Documentary and Experimental Arts. I have been making documentary films for the past 10 years, but I realized my interest in documenting weddings when my sister got married. She complained that there were no wedding videographers that "spoke" to her and that most wedding videos felt and looked the same. I realized I wanted to provide couples with funky, cool video options that felt authentic to them. I also love approaching wedding films with a cinematic eye and treating them as any other type of documentary I'd make. I am always open to collaboration with my couples and coming up with new ways to express their love.

I absolutely love getting to know my couples and learning their story. I always say that it's important to like both your photographer and your videographer because you'll be spending a lot of time with them on your wedding day. I get totally engrossed in my couple's personal stories / vibes / aesthetic and that's what makes my films unique.
