prices from: Hushed Commotion offers a range of bridal adornments varying in price from approximately $85-800 from our yearly collections. Our designer, Thea, is also happy to work on custom pieces, which may come in at a higher price point than our standard range.

about us
Thea started her bridal line in 2012 with the goal to create detailed accessories that were elegant and had a bit of a vintage vibe while still fitting into the modern day brides vision. She values the hand made process immensely. Every piece is hand made in NY. She grew up in a family that valued the artisan, and she is a big believer in encouraging the world to find their way back to supporting the artisans of this world and the craft that is involved in creating beautiful pieces of wearable art.

our approach / working with us
Thea takes so much of her inspiration from the 20's and 30's, it has always been a source of interest for her, ever since she was a young girl in NC. The romance, yet the clean lines of Art Nouveau really speak to the type of work she creates today. She believes that accessories should have detail, intricacy and presence to them, but should not overpower the bride.

I love how the brides and grooms really tap into their creative side throughout the process, many of them discover a love for design or details that they had no idea was in them. Seeing them grow like that together, and create something special and beautiful to represent the love they have found is a magical thing.
