Award-wining DJ and club promoter Jamie Jams has been making people dance to obscure rock genres for over 15 years. He's humbly shared the stage with shoegaze gods like Ride, The Telescopes and Medicine, and more contemporary acts like Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Passion Pit and Washed Out. He's got an SF Bay Guardian 'Best of the Bay' and an SF Weekly 'Best of SF' on the wall and can be found intermittent weeknights on KALX 90.7 FM, Berkeley. our approach / working with us
We build the catalog of music for every wedding completely from scratch with a special emphasis on obscure genres, special projects and theme weddings. We live DJ your entire event from front to back on actual turntables, top shelf speakers and vinyl wherever possible. We can cut and scratch like hip hop DJs, do long melodic mixes like house DJs and make you jump up like rock DJs. Only we do all three simultaneously, with effects, and on genres you never imagined possible. Our standard set up is 4 JBL PRX815 speakers, 2 turntables and a mixer, plus whatever mics you need. We also do deluxe packages for a extra large sound system, after party, welcome party, 3 day weekend or all vinyl sets. Now offering lighting, livestream, bands and ceremony musicians. We love destination weddings. But if it's more than a 2 hour drive, we need you to put us up in a hotel for the night. Usually we can work something out.
