I love that Rebekah + Matt put their own spin on their vintage circus wedding by throwing their wedding in a super modern space – the Pravda Studios in Seattle, Washington. They pulled lots of inspiration from wedding blogs and threw a wedding that totally fit them as a couple. With lots of fun vintage circus signs, colorful umbrellas hanging form the ceiling and plenty of yummy food, it was the perfect day for them. Big congrats to Rebekah + Matt and thanks also to Kristen Marie for sharing this fun wedding with us to start the week off!
How sweet is Matt’s button boutonniere?! Totally love how fun it is…
Most memorable moment of your wedding day? It is hard to decide because there are so many. But it would have to be either walking down the aisle with my father or hearing the song my brother wrote for us for the first time. And then there were my husband’s Michael Jackson moves at the end of the night, that I had no idea he had in him…but I’m sure I’m not supposed to mention that! :)
Any advice for those planning now? My advice would be to be totally and truly authentic to who you and your partner are. Do not plan a wedding to please anyone elses expectations. If you plan the day that reflects you as a couple, even if its not traditional, your guests will love it, because they are there for you!
Also, have fun and don’t take it too seriously. I have heard so many horror stories from other brides about their wedding day and so many people worked me up to be prepared for major disasters. Stay organized, surround yourself with people who love you, delegate, and have a plan…then just stay calm and have fun! I have to say, I had so much fun at my wedding. I have no regrets because we planned the day that we wanted. And yes, I have a type A personality, but staying organized and delegating tasks to people around you allows you to truly enjoy your day!

Vintage + Circus! What a great idea.
We had a backyard “farm to table” vintage themed wedding. Umbrellas, string italian lights, vintage photo booth and mint juleps to top the evening off. This style is such a timeless way to spend your most special day.
