Good morning to all you lovers out there! As you know, we ADORE weddings…so naturally, February and all the events surrounding Valentine’s Day hold a special place in our hearts. You too? Well, if you’re after some *sweet* ideas of how to celebrate you + your love this week, we’ve definitely got a few things up our collective sleeves (see this list of 12 Ideas for a Super Sweet Valentine’s Day!). But we didn’t want to stop there, ohhhh no! Today, we’re giving you this delightful dinner setup that sure packs a peachy punch.
Where? Oh, just a cactus garden at the Andaz Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Photographer Kayla Fisher and florist, Melissa of Moelleux Events, thought what better way to celebrate your love than an intimate dinner, followed by dessert, and a sultry sunset? We’re definitely on board with this idea! So, let’s head out to the desert and see how you can throw together a last-minute celebration for your sweetheart!
The Ensembles
Isn’t this Rue de Seine dress from Lovely Bride a DREAM?! From the sleeves to the floral print to the intricate lace…we love the whimsical + bohemian feeling of this gown.
Tip #1: Dress up in something you feel FABULOUS in. Even if it’s just a night in, there’s always a reason to celebrate. Plus, it will make the occasion feel *extra* special, and it gives you a good reason to don a sultry something. :)
A dress like that wouldn’t be complete without a free-spirited braid, now would it? We have a feeling you’ll want to save this design from Ash Petty Hair.
And, of course, if you’re going to dress up with the hair + gown, you’ve gotta go glam with the makeup, right? We love this sultry + smoky eye from Makeup Artistry by Natalie.
The Peachy Tablescape
How darling is this spread with pieces from The Confetti Studio + Gather at the Grain? We’re crushing on those hues that complement the desert landscape + how they stay very tonal with all the peachy pinks.
Tip #2: A lovely tablescape can be created in your kitchen or backyard with just a few essentials: table runner, candles, a few florals, plates + cups. Target + World Market are great places to source these kind of goodies at a fraction of the price.
That CAKE!! Abbie Cakes created this painterly masterpiece…but that wasn’t those only sweet treat. Nicole Mcbeth of Cinnamomma Cinnamon Rolls brought in tasty bites, too.

Tip #3: Grab you + your sweetie’s favorite dessert! While this spread of macarons, cake and other confectionary delights is quite impressive—some good ol’ funfetti cupcakes or ice cream sundaes will do the trick!

A case of chemistry? These two are a real couple + got married last November in Austin, Texas! Kayla, the photographer, tells us: The story of how they met is actually pretty funny—Allie’s mom saw Ty playing baseball on TV (he’s in the MLB) and noticed that he had a mole on the side of his face just like Allie’s. She told Allie that she should message him and so she did and she came out to his next baseball game. They’ve been together ever since! They call each other “mole mates” (too funny, right??).
A Vintage Ride
Tip #5: Maybe, just maybe, you can score a vintage ride from a friend or relative…if not, no worries! Go for a cruise to some of your favorite spots: perhaps the place you had your first kiss, first date, or other places that have been meaningful throughout your relationship. Take a drive down memory lane. :)
