Found what you think would be an awesome venue for your wedding but hesitant because it doesn’t really go with the theme you were thinking? Don’t you worry! With a little creativity + ingenuity, you can transform a space to fit your vision!

To set the Southwestern vibes, the invitation suite by Davis Art Co featured clay-colored watercolors. Isn’t this so sweet styled with the broken pottery + macramé?

How to Transform a Space

This little chapel has white surfaces and awesome windows—essentially it’s a blank space. So, once you find your venue, figure out what you’re working with—does it have exposed brick, an awesome garden courtyard, blank walls or large windows?

Your theme can be translated in so many different ways. From hanging greenery along the entrance or backdrop, like above, to layering colorful rugs and adding in potted succulents! None of those items were there before, but they totally set the stage for a Southwestern feeling. All you have to do is come up with the ideas. :)

Focus on the things you two LOVE and maybe take a note or two from the items you have in your home—are there certain colors you tend to gravitate toward? Do you like to keep things minimal and clean or do you like a more wild styling?

The Ensembles

This bride’s style was all about being barefoot + bohemian, with wild locks styled by Duo Derailed + a lacy masterpiece from Coreena’s Bridal.

Complementing the vignette with a cool hue, the groom looked SHARP in this blue suit!

The Florals

For the florals by Unforgettable Floral, it was all about picking up the hues seen in the rugs and adding in tons of texture with the eucalyptus and air plants!

The Tablescape
