There’s just something about a vineyard wedding that guarantees romance no matter what! And in California’s beautiful wine country region, another thing you’re pretty much always guaranteed? Gorgeous, gorgeous golden light! Sophie + Elliott took full advantage of their beautiful surroundings at HammerSky Vineyards (in Paso Robles) by creating an atmosphere that was warm, inviting + filled with natural beauty. Adornments Flowers & Finery crafted the most lush florals we’ve seen in a minute + Sophie was a hands-on bride; designing and pulling together the details of the gorgeous setting herself. Aside from the aesthetics, certain aspect of the day were high on their priority list. Let’s hear a bit more about that from S + E:
We tried to keep it small and intimate, and focus on elements that were important and special to both of our families and us. We incorporated food, flags, music and flowers from both countries, and we also had an interfaith ceremony to include important traditions and faiths from both of our families. Additionally, we choose to forgo some traditions that weren’t important to us and/or made us feel uncomfortable. We wanted the wedding to feel unique and personal by really reflecting our backgrounds in addition to who we are as a couple.
Danielle Poff Photography definitely made good use of the light we mentioned earlier! Perfect eye candy for this early Monday morning :)
We’re pretty in love with EVERYTHING in that photo above! Soph’s Maggie Sottero dress is picture perfect and her bridesmaids look so gorgeous in their pale blue Coast dresses! To top it all off, the bouquets + flower crowns Adornments whipped up couldn’t have been better.
Vineyard bouquet formula: White protea, peach garden roses, pieris japonica + eucalyptus.
Definitely walking down the aisle. Elliott and I didn't see each other since the night before the wedding, so it was so amazing and special to see him waiting at the end of the aisle for me.
Processional: Pachelbel's Canon in D to Waltzing Matilda
Recessional: All You Need is Love
First Dance: You are the Best Thing
So in love with every portrait Danielle captured of Sophie + Elliott!
HammerSky is such a dream setting for a wedding!

Try your best to go with the flow and accept that things won't always go exactly to plan, because it will be beautiful regardless.
