I’m totally loving the florals and tablescape for the fantastic wedding reception of New York interior decorator and stylist Kelly d’Halluin, née Kapica, and art-loving grande famille scion Nicolas d’Halluin. This wedding was held in the countryside near Paris with cocktails in the gardens, candlelit dinner on the terrace – at a single long table set for 300 guests! – and dancing in the grand salon. I love this color combination and the bouquet – it is so stunning. The inspiration for the bouquet came from the curiosity cabinets in the chatêau. Paris-based floral designer, Stephanie Chapelle, mixed butterflies from Deyrolle, grouse feathers, orchids, ferns, mind and peonies tied with antique ribbons. One of my other favorite details are the glass cloches – aren’t the little nests and porcelain birds perfect? The place cards were done by calligrapher, Bernard Maisner.
What an amazing table! “Fuzzy baby almonds, pepper berries, and porcelain doves accompany birch-bark vessels and white and green florals down the length of the reception dining table.” Kelly (the bride) really brought her vision to life with her amazing styling.

This is so gorgeous! I am particularly in love with the use of feathers and butterflies in the bouquet, absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely stunning! I'm totally overcome by the loveliness.
The colors, the natural elements like the birch wood, and the fuzzy almonds… Simply dreamy!
Thanks for sharing!
That bouquet is just stunning!!
What a beautiful color palette. I love those candles. And to be in the countryside in France?!
These are the most gorgeous table settings! Rustic elegance at it's best!
pitter patter pitter patter— that's my heart looking at this beautiful scene!
INCREDIBLY ELEGANT + WELCOMING!!!!!
Those centerpieces are amazing with the birds and nest… two little birdies in their nest just like the couple for their nest! What a celebration! :)
Wow – that is 100% what my dreamwedding would be. The only thing it's missing is me, my fiance, and lavender. Where on earth could I get some porcelain birds like that? I've been hunting for months.
