Carey + Craig met a few years ago at a mutual friend’s wedding and as they say, the rest is history! Carey + Craig were both born and raised in San Diego, are very family oriented and love the simple things in life. Carey wanted a rustic garden wedding theme and the Carlsbad Flower Fields (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married) seemed to be the perfect location for it. From Justin, “Carey and her mother Chriss have a passion for crafts and design. As projects were created, other ideas were in the making. Their inspiration came from many different sources such as magazines, the internet, gardens and antique stores. Many of their ideas would not have been possible without the professional skills of Carey’s father Marty Brumfield who is a general contractor. Having Craig as his sidekick, took the planning to another level. The possibilities were endless because of the group’s enthusiasm and dedication. Craig and Carey’s goal was to have a causal yet chic wedding and more importantly to show their guests a great time. They enjoyed the journey and couldn’t have done it without the love, support and help from their family and friends.”

We felt so lucky to be able to have Carey and Craig’s wedding at the flower fields. It was truly an amazing year of planning and so much fun. The flower fields staff and all of our vendors did an outstanding job. I’m going to miss all the people involved.

Shot in the dark, but I’m getting married next weekend and had fallen in love with the same bridesmaid dresses that you chose for your lovely ladies. Unfortunately mine waited too long and by the time they went to purchase them, they were gone. We’ve tried ebay and everything but the dresses are sooooo hard to find! I am wondering if any of your girls might be willing to sell one? I know it’s weird, but I settled for other dresses that I don’t really like and this would just make me wedding.
