When Aurélie + Antoine were planning their intimate French garden wedding, never did they envisioned a freak rainstorm crashing the party! But this fun-loving duo wasn’t about to let it ruin their good time. And despite the rain, their day was filled with emotion, energy, and lots of love! They incorporated plenty of fun details that reflected the two of them + the things they love most. Antoine wore personalized converse, the tables were named after their favorite tv shows + cartoons, and guests received homemade jam stamped with A + A’s wedding logo. And wait until you see their super sweet ceremony, replete with tons of happy tears and their colorful confetti recessional. Too much cuteness!
Thanks so much to Marion Heurteboust for sharing this charming wedding with us + big congrats to Aurélie + Antoine!
We’re totally crushing on this “just picked from the garden” style bouquet by Claire Augustyniak. So colorful + pretty!
Aurélie: For me it was during the ceremony. To see our families and guests participating to this ceremony that we thoughtfully created, put so much into…. and the vows of Antoine! Full of love and tears.
Antoine: Same here! The ceremony. Creating it but also living it! A highlight of the day for sure!
Processional: Groom : The times they are a changin' – Bob Dylan; Bride: Blue – Seat Belts
Recessional: All is love – Karen O and the Kids
First Dance: La vie en Rose – Louis Armstrong
Displaying your menu on a wooden pallet is such a great idea, and a super easy DIY!
It’s important to listen to yourselves when organizing your wedding day. To create a wedding to your image that truly feels like YOU. Don’t worry too much about what other people think on this or this matter but really do what pleases you.
Same for the artists involved in our wedding, the feeling was there from the beginning, we loved their work and trusted them. We don’t regret our decisions one bit! Have fun when planning your wedding and trust yourselves!

I have really taken a shine to this wedding.
What a riot of colour! Antoine’s electric blue suit is fabulous and Aurélie’s bouquet is beautiful. And photos in the rain, great, we have to do this a lot in England so it’s good to see people having fun here….and such appealing wedding breakfast settings.
J’adore Antoine’s cool electric blue suit and converse – Way hay, converse are always a winner in our eyes. I love love LOVE Aurélie’s stunning bouquet, so very colourful and lovely. And very happy to see the Japanese animae characters from My Neighbour Totoro make an appearance! What a cool, fun a beautiful wedding, lovely photos too! :D
I love everything about this wedding! Do you happen to know where they got the cake toppers? I have been searching for days to try to find those Totoro cake toppers, I would love them for my upcoming wedding!
