At GWS we are huge fans of Myra Callan and her incredible wedding collections, Myra Callan Bridal + Twigs & Honey, so we’re super excited to show you what’s in store for each collection in 2014! The Myra Callan Bridal 2014 line, Lovebirds, uses a combination of lovely lace + ethereal silks and features bridal gowns, bridal separates, lingerie + cover-ups. With a focus on flattering + functional silhouettes, the floaty + whimsical pieces are a breath of fresh air, resulting in refined bohemian look. And everything from the collection is proudly made locally in the USA.
For the 2014 Twigs & Honey collection, Myra focused on intricate details + fine materials. This season, she wanted to portray a more romantic + lightweight feel – and it’s reflected in the delicate hair vines, wired soft blossoms and minimally adorned tulle veils. There’s a touch of sparkle, but not too much; everything is versatile + totally wear-able. We’re beyond smitten with it all…oh, and of course it is captured gorgeously by Elizabeth Messina…
Elizabeth Messina‘s ever-so-romantic photography style is a perfect match for Myra’s dreamy collections. She captured the look + feel of everything beautifully…
The new bridal separates provide options for mix-and-match and the lingerie/cover-ups pieces are perfect convertible styles that can be worn while a bride gets ready or during her honeymoon.
These feather pieces are so super gorge! :)
And this detailed headband is one of my favorites!
Myra wanted the line to feel romantic, yet ghostly; structured with a sense of fragility. It is all about the charm in the details + these pieces are guaranteed to be loved by so many brides who are tying the knot next year. Which one is your favorite?
Absolutely stunning, right? Thank you so much, Myra, for sharing this gorgeous first look at each of your new collections with us today!
