We l-o-v-e that there are so many amazing directions to take your wedding day design. Even within a theme, take bohemian-meets-Moroccan for example, there are plenty of ways to perfectly customize the setting to feel like a fit for the two of you.
Today’s shoot, designed + conceived by Lane Bigsby and the team at Something Borrowed Vintage Rentals, echoes our feelings + sentiment exactly. We love how Lane styled the stunning scene, sharing her love of combining unexpected textures + re-purposing some amazing vintage finds. And the rich palette of plum, burgundy, amber and metallics just so happens to be a perfect idea for fall + winter weddings! Read on for many more details + peeks of Turkish rugs, Kilim pillows, exotic lanterns and hand painted stones in Hazelwood Photo’s stunning captures below! We love how everything was styled in a clean + minimal way, paralleling the airy neutrality of Urban Studio located in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
Instead of choosing a vintage gown, the team opted for a custom-designed lace wedding gown and a fluid dolman sleeved reception dress created by Holly Stalder of The Diamond Sea. SO dreamy, right?
For the florals, BLUM Design in Florals used jasmine, almond blossoms, eucalyptus, allium, orange cymbidium orchids, garden roses, ranunculus and air plants – plus a few other odds and ends to achieve a lush, unique look. The macrame backdrops were by Holly Mueller Home.
Wouldn’t this be such a fun, relaxing reception space? If you love this look as much as we do, shop with us below to snag this style for your big day (or next party!):

We’re obsessed with this gold rope-detail cake by Artisan Cake Company. Best ever!

I am obsessed with these wedding pictures. The head accessories and that necklace are exceptional, and the sheer lace dresses are so appropriate for a boho meets Moroccan theme.
