One of the best aspects of eloping is the freedom to just do your thing. And if you’ve been dreaming of a minimal bohemian seaside celebration, it just might look a little something like this! For today’s styled shoot, Tina from Loveridge Photography, Taylor from A Wild Poppy, and the ladies of Twiggs Floral Studio worked together to create a setting that would complement, rather than over power, their gorgeous beach surroundings. And who could blame them? With that stunning rocky shoreline backdrop, less definitely was more. We hope any of you who are considering a boho elopement at the beach will find yourselves inspired by this one! Here’s a little bit of backstory from Tina:
Taylor and I originally got together to just shoot a look-book for her growing line of weddings dresses in her vintage store, “A Wild Poppy.” After talking about how we are inspired by a seemingly growing trend of intimate and thoughtful gatherings for weddings, we decided to keep the inspiration going and create a wedding at one of our all-time favorite locations, Montana de Oro, California…
What a perfect bouquet! And love the bridesmaids in those neutral vintage frocks!
The idea of a sweet post-ceremony picnic in the sand sounds pretty perfect to us. And how rad is that driftwood + cinderblock table? Would make for a fun DIY coffee table, too!
So many great muted pattern, textiles + details!
Love the idea of a one-of-a-kind vintage lace wedding dress!
The prettiest, yes? Big thanks to the very talented folks below for sharing their work with us today! Are any of you lovelies planning a beachfront bohemian elopement? We’d love to hear!

So beautiful and relaxed. I love it.
Oh my goodness, this is perfection! Love the boho-at-the-beach concept!
How stunning is this! I love the romance of an elopement. sometimes all you need to each other to make the day that much more special. PS SLO, Ca is one of my favorite places in the whole world!
I love the signs, particularly the one that says, “the best is yet to come.” What a great idea to have the couple hold various calligraphy signs while their photos are being taken after the wedding.
Great vibe in this inspiration shoot.
Love the intimacy of this. So simple and gorgeous.
