To the Stars: Masculine, Celestial-Inspired Wedding Inspiration

Celestial Wedding Inspiration

The last few months we’ve seen a major flux of celestial-inspired design ideas, and we’re *over the moon* about it! Today’s masculine editorial stemmed from a starry direction — something fresh and natural, while moody and not too heavy.

Photographer Matt of The More We See shares: Sara Rea Design and I wanted to highlight a more masculine wedding design. This was perfectly portrayed by two handsome grooms, whose unique styles paired well together. We didn’t want to sacrifice romance, but we wanted to go outside the box, and stunning portraits in this gorgeous space accomplish both. Reflective surfaces help to highlight the amazing detail of the venue (One North Broad) while simulating a starry night.

Prepare to take a trip to the stars…

The Details

House Of Catherine’s brush-splattered invitation suite is such a cool idea! Finding ways to mimic the stars though and through is a good move in our book.

Hello, rings by Harry Merrill! Are you more into the hammered look or the minimal rope design? We can’t decide!

And that ceremony arch!! Sara Rea Design absolutely nailed this design with the industrial gold piping, hanging star, and asymmetrical florals by RAM Floral.

The masonic temple is filled with intricate detail, rich history, and with gold accents, it almost looks as if One North Broad was constructed for this editorial!

So much YES to their styling suits! Pin stripes and this tweed look from Commonwealth Proper.

Um, is this the coolest double exposure you’ve ever seen, or what?!

Escort Cards + Tablescape

Brining in an array of cool colors, the escort cards were hung from clear strings — making them seem like they’re hanging in the night sky.

So LUXE. Those copper-coated leaves, plus the rich dark blue, and the mirrored table are seriously sophisticated.

Chiavari Chairs really framed this space with the moody palette. We adore the use of the glossy black chairs to bring a masculine edge to the bright room.

The More We See shares: We chose dark details to be contrasted with jewel tone accents, to add to the overall texture of the design.

The Cake

Last, but certainly not least — this starry confectionary delight crafted by Cake Life Bakeshop! So much fun.

Major props to the team behind this editorial. You all are super stars! :)
