While we predominately talk weddings around these parts, we’re all about featuring anything to do with our most fave subject: Love. Since V-Day is the perfect chance to show your eternal Valentine just how much you care, we adore the idea of an ultra-romantic dinner shared together at home on the 14th of February.
The designer behind this pretty dinner vignette, Vanessa of Alchemy Fine Events, wanted to create the ultimate evening in, with dark design undertones of slithering serpents and spellbinding treats to nibble and sip on. Teaming up with chef Andrew Spurgin, mixologist Mike Yen and Snakeoil Cocktail Company, the vision came to life with all the drama and sweetness this fun holiday warrants. Oh, and we are sharing the recipes for those gorgeous cocktails seen above also!
Vanessa shares, Isari Flower Studio created a texturally rich heart shaped arrangement with lush blooms in deep reds and raspberries for the perfect centerpiece to pour your heart over… The heart shape was studded with large bloom amaryllis, miniature blooms garden roses, ranunculus, 2 shades of ruffled french carnations, deep shade parrot tulips, astrantias, burgundy anemones and hellebores, with clematis and it’s foliages and flowering Japanese magnolia.
We have to admit, we’re pretty gaga over the luxurious tableware pieces by L’Objet.
