How does one throw a luxe 70s inspired wedding + dinner party? We’re glad you asked — because we’re sharing all the answers in today’s styled shoot, designed by a dream team of vendors, including – linen specialist Kristin Rose, designer + vintage rentals extraordinaire Lisa Malott, florist Laura Helm, and photographer Tiffani Jones! The idea revolved around gathering for a Thanksgiving dinner at the Wish Vintage Rentals warehouse space in Florida… That just so happened to turn into a surprise wedding! How fun is that? With rich fall colors such as warm amber, burnt orange, gold, sapphire blue, mustard yellow and mossy green — the palette definitely captures the luxe 70s feeling.
The team tells us We brainstormed an idea to start our “wedding” as a Thanksgiving dinner party: a time of gratitude, a time when we reflect and are grateful for our family and friends, those people who love and support us the most. With this in mind, we thought, what better time for a surprise wedding than right after Thanksgiving dinner? Everyone has already gathered together and is happy and content after a delicious meal. When the plates and chargers are cleared, they will discover the surprise announcement, and the wedding celebration will take place that very night!

So instead of curling up with a warm blanket and a cup of tea after Thanksgiving dinner, each guest received one of these darling invitations by Citrus Press.
Megan Bubalo, owner of Malindy Elene Bridal, simply styled the bride to perfection! She created this custom bridal look by pairing a Martina Liana skirt with a stunning Ti Adora top.
Those florals by Laura Helm of Ashton Events are so striking!!
Such a gorgeous space with all the eclectic goodies from Wish Vintage Rentals!
The team shares with us We wanted to take the eclectic rustic look of the warehouse to the next level with a touch of 70s luxe. We paired gold Chiavari Chairs and matching gold Peacock Chairs at the reclaimed wood farm table and used a vintage Persian rug as a backdrop to our fireplace mantel, styled with vintage brass pieces and family photographs.
Fun Fact: Those darling vintage plates from Kate Ryan Linens are what set the whole design scheme into motion!
The gorgeous florals, colorful vintage glassware and elegant custom linens on the dining table contrasted perfectly with the raw warehouse space and rustic bar setup.
J’aime Cakes brought several delicious homemade goodies to the party, including traditional apple + pumpkin pie with gorgeous leaf crusts, watercolor fall leaf sugar cookies, and a delectable apple spiced Bundt cake, complete with dripping salted caramel.
How stunning is this real-life couple? Thanks so much for the dream team behind this shoot! We’re definitely feeling all the fall + Thanksgiving vibes. :)
