I just love the color palette and inspiration behind this styled shoot Megan + Emily from Enjoy Events Co. are sharing with us today. From Megan + Emily, “We came up with the theme “Land to Sea,” but wanted it to be completely unlike typical beach themes. To bring a fresh and organic feel to the overall idea, we reached out to some of our favorite people in the wedding industry and designed our own take on the color palette. We gathered worn, rusted bottles and vintage globes, and mixed in fresh succulents and air plants for a modern twist. We created a powder-blue backdrop to tie the look together.” Thanks so much for sharing your ideas today and hope this inspires those of you planning a beach wedding – or dreaming of the beach today like me! :)
The seating cards were rested in air plants set inside a watercolor-inspired bowl.

When an art gallery is the setting for your wedding, there are infinite backgrounds for photo ops. I love this one, by Amanda Williams from Chicago, IL, called “My Grandmother Was Not One to Repeat Herself.” Below, a mixture of colored glass bottles filled with sand and beach plants played up the theme – great decor for a lounge area for your guests.
I love the escort-card display with vintage globes used to hold the name tags.

Thanks so much to all these vendors for sharing your talents today!

Such a beautiful and refreshing take on beach look. love the menus!
Such a gorgeous colour palette!
The glass and the globes are perfect. I’m not a big fan of assigned seating, but that was a great way to set that up.
The colors were very coastal also, love it – Derrick Perrin
I LOVE everything, but I especially like the use of succulents and air plants. And the watercolor bowls were such a nice touch. Great job!
This is somehow new to my eyes…I like the idea of floras and bottles with something inside it..Great!
I love the vintage looking bottles and vases. That looks like the perfect type of simple but chic decoration for a beach wedding. I’ve been looking for beautiful and eco-chic decorations for friends of mine who are planning beach weddings on Long Island at http://www.thesandsatlanticbeach.com/. The inspiration from this site will help make the event fabulous! Thanks!
