Enchanted Minnesota Camp Wedding: Kaylee + Josh

Minnesota camp wedding

Kaylee + Josh knew they wanted a wedding venue that was charming + surrounded by nature. After stumbling upon Camp Tanadoona, an old governors mansion that overlooked the river below, they knew they’d found the most perfect location. They enlisted the design skills of Lizie Anne Weddings, who loved bringing their enchanted forest wedding vision to life. And the color palette was a beautiful mix of peach, berry, green, and tan – perfect a sweet Summer wedding!

According to the bride, We wanted our wedding day to be an intimate celebration of our love with our family and closest friends. We both love nature, camping and adventure. When we found our venue, we knew it would be the perfect place to join our lives together. We filled the day with all of the things and people who make us the happiest.

K + J are kind of the cutest, right?! And we love how the feel of romance from the day comes across beautifully in these images by Geneoh

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

Standing on the steps of the house during the ceremony and feeling so much love and support surrounding us. Marrying my best friend in the most amazing place with hearts full of love.

From Lizie Anne, Following the ceremony, guests were escorted down to cocktail hour where strawberry mint juleps were served as a signature drink, and they were able to write a personal note in the wood made guest book presented. Calligraphy drawn wood sliced escort names were placed in beds of moss for guests to find their names as they were invited under the canopy of lights for dinner! Beautiful gold mercury glass graced the tables with mixes of lanterns and woods boxes flowing with beautiful blooms.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Appreciate it all! Planning a wedding is so much fun but it is easy to get swept away in all the details. Remember, they are just that, details. Starting a life with someone you love should always be the primary focus of the day. Remember to sneak away and spend time together. Remember not to worry about the 80% chance of rain or forgotten jewelry or ants in the cupcakes. Enjoy every moment.
