With St. Patrick’s Day later this week and Pantone declaring it the color of the year, there is lots to love in this emerald styled shoot! For this photoshoot, You & Me Events and Hazelnut Photography thought it would be fun to create an imaginary couple and design a wedding perfectly suited to them. So, meet Dexter and Ella! :) He is a master mixologist who loves the grandeur of eras gone by; she is a jewelry designer and fashion blogger who has a serious love of the color green.
And more from the team about the shoot, “We found a lot of inspiration in the gorgeous lines of a St. Germaine bottle, which has the essence of Dexter’s favorite time period. We used these art deco shapes to inspire everything from the invitations to the Bride’s bouquet. Using important keepsakes is a wonderful way to infuse their personalities into the wedding day. We imagined that the vintage ice bucket is a cherished family heirloom and we were able to re-purpose it as a unique cake stand. We put the Bride’s incredible jewelry collection to good use as a glamorous base for the escort card bottles. These small details are sure to make the day feel like their own, which is exactly how every Bride & Groom should feel on their wedding day.”
Thanks to all these creatives for sharing their talent with us today!

The flowers are the best part of this entire spread. I have NEVER seen such gorgeous florals in my life. They seem like they’re from another planet–other worldly–totally amazing.
Ohhhh I REALLY need to know where to get that necklace. Anyone?
What an awesome, original idea to use velvet ribbon for chair sashes! Might have to borrow the idea! I love all the attention to detail, and absolutely love the bride’s hair!!!!!!
Wow. What a fabulous idea. Perfect for an irish wedding!
Very very nice! Green is such a wonderful colour, actually it is my favourite colour. Makes everybody feel great!
I never knew green could be so classy. All this time I thought it only worked for garden weddings. This is a fabulous shoot! That necklace is captivating! Anyone knows where I can get one?
