DIY: Silk Flower Centerpiece

DIY silk flower centerpiece

Today we are back at it again with another gorgeous Afloral DIY – a centerpiece! And yep, this one is made of all silk flowers! You can make this for a pretty summer tablescape at home for entertaining, or something for your wedding! We even paired our centerpiece with pretty gold flatware from Target, and a menu from Minted! And what we love about Afloral is this means you’ll never see it fade all day, and you can keep it for later! Here’s how did it…

What You’ll Need:
• Silk flowers from AFloral. We picked cream, peach + pink roses, salal leaf, hops spray, berries, thistle pods + veronica from this curated page on Afloral.com
• Vase/Vessel for Centerpiece
• Floral Tape
• Scissors

Step 1: Start by taking your floral tape and adding a cross-section (like appple pie!) over your footed vessel. This will hold in your flowers.

Step 2: Take your filler greens (like the hops) and begin to fill in the sides of your centerpiece.
Step 3: Then, begin to fill in towards the center with more greens so that it looks nice and full.
Step 4: Take a few of your focal flowers (like roses) and place around your grid in a way you like!
Step 5: Lastly, fill in with other greens any gaps you see, as well as filler flowers to add more dimension.
