Dancing in the Moonlight: A Luxe Emerald Green Wedding with Celestial-Inspired Details

Moonlit Steel Yard Wedding

Dancing in the moonlight is always a good idea, right? Well for Amanda + Christiaan’s wedding it was a GREAT idea. Wanting to keep things intimate and cozy, the duo channeled celestial details for their ceremony + reception, making sure everything felt like it was pure magic in the moonlight. Everything was cast with a dreamy glow, rich + luxe hues were abundant, and they had “living” walls crafted from florals!

Semia, of Flowers by Semia, their designer, planner, florist extraordinaire provided the creative direction behind each piece to turn it into a mystical wonderland (and she just so happens to be the sister of the groom). Let’s take an enchanting walk through the photos captured by Allison Markova!

We’re particularly fond of this luxe invitation suite… With accents of gold and hues of green, Beth at Fairest Flowers Farm seriously nailed the design concept!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

Walking into the beauty that Semia, our designer + florist, created was a complete surprise to the both of us... And the room was filled with just our closest family and friends — so it was even more special. A true fairytale. The small, quaint setting made it seem that much more intimate.

Amanda shares We met at a house party in Providence when I was attending Bridgewater State and Christiaan was living in Providence… That was 10 years ago. We dated briefly, however it wasn’t our time. We kept in contact for a couple of years and went our separate ways. When we reconnected, we instantly fell into the fated fairytale love that we had been missing for 10 years! Now we’re absolute best friends and soul mates. Today, we are raising our two beautiful boys and enjoying every minute spent as a family.

These are the living walls we mentioned above! Flowers by Semia crafted these extraordinary beauties to line the walls and create a sort of garden environment, even with the brick interior. So cool!

Lit by candles, everything had an enchanting golden glow. The table was complete with mercury glass vases, milk glass mugs, and an array of gold-rimmed vessels.
