Sometimes, it just feels right to stick to the classics! Audrey and Andrew had the time of their lives planning their ultra-chic black and white wedding in Arkansas.
Our inspiration was chic romance! We wanted our florals, designed by Floral Neigh NWA to stand out since our first date was the botanical garden of the Ozarks.
The couple worked with photography team Count in Threes to make their dream wedding photos a reality. Their venue, Brick Ball Room, was the perfect blank slate to design a romantic modern industrial dream wedding.
Black and White and Love All Over
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – all great weddings start with a great color palette! The key is to keep it consistent throughout the entire wedding, including the lead-up! These black and white wedding invitations did just the trick for this fabulous affair.
There’s nothing wrong with a little pregame for those wedding day jitters. And hey, you might as do it in a super cute robe and bathtub!
2022’s biggest wedding trend? Bridal gloves! We LOVE this pair by Tesori Bridal. Oh – and we’ve sourced 21 different pairs of gloves for you to wear on your big day.
A Romantic Ceremony
Bride in white, and bridesmaids in black! Contrast is key in creating visual interest for your wedding, and boy oh boy do these ladies look beautiful!
We talked about the gloves, now let’s talk dress deets! Like all great things, wedding dress shopping takes time. In Audrey’s case, not only did she try on a lot of dresses, she bought a lot of dresses! Our blushing bride purchased three different gowns before finding her perfect match. As for the other two, they were donated!
Modern. Industrial. Simplicity.
Processional: You Are The Reason by Calum Scott (played on the cello)
Recessional: Remember This by The Jonas Brothers
First Dance: A Million Dreams by John Adam
As if becoming husband and wife wasn’t emotional enough, this wedding ceremony had one extra sentimental twist. It was officiated by the bride’s father!
Having our pup, Atlas, as our dog of honor!
The bride and groom looked nothing short of amazing after saying their vows. That newly married glow is so real!
Prioritize self-care! It really does go a long way!
The Sweetest Reception
Classic style just got reinvented! The age-old black and white color scheme is upgraded in a fresh way by being used in a modern space. Timeless elements, like white drapey tablecloths, give the space an elegant feel.
These hanging flowers are the cutest thing! They’re the perfect way to upgrade your reception without using large centerpieces.
The sweetheart table was delightfully moody. In contrast to the guests’ light-toned chairs, the bride and groom opted for black. Not only that, but chic black candles gave the look a certain je nais se quois.
Don’t have the budget for big centerpieces? Don’t worry about it! Mini arrangements are huge right now. A small baby’s breath bouquet will do just the trick.
These adorable charcuterie cups are the perfect mid-wedding snack!
Congratulations to Audrey and Andrew on your big day! The team here at GWS wishes you a lifetime of happiness!

Very cool theme! This direct flash style of photography was perfect for the black and white aesthetic. Well done!
