Celestial Bridal Shower with Deep Blues + Galactic Details

Owl Constellation Bridal Shower

It’s a love story written in the stars! When it came to designing this “owl love you more than the stars” celestial bridal shower, Francesca at 50by50 Event Design didn’t have to look further than the bride and groom themselves:

For this owl constellation bridal shower, I was inspired by the story of the bride and groom’s first exchanges of, “I love you.” They were on a road trip to the sequoias and talking about their mutual love of owls. It was evening, stars shining brightly in the sky, and they were just turning into the forest when they both spotted an owl. The owl didn’t budge when they stopped the car — just sat perched on the branch. There, watching in the stillness, he turned to her and said, “I love you,” and she responded without hesitation! From that point forward, the owl was the very symbol of their love.

Looking, well, to the stars, Francesca brought in crystal elements and owl details to round out the day’s design. Let’s take a closer look, with photos from Jack Rodriguez Photography!

Francesca wanted to keep the party intimate, using darker tones to bring a piece of the universe and stars to the backyard shower.

The guests enjoyed homemade tacos and sipped on blackberry sage water in the coolest orb dispenser!

zodiac hoop

At the table, everyone went home with a custom piece of embroidered hoop wall art by Justwatchastitch with their personal zodiac symbol. LOVE this idea for a favor!
