California Boho Meets Coastal Santorini in this Dreamy Greek Wedding

Work hard, play hard: a phrase that certainly rings true for today’s total power couple, Justin + Taylor! These two are the founders of posh Los Angeles-based fitness studio, LIT Method, a studio that just so happened to attract the likes of the ladies behind Amber Events. So, when J+T got engaged and started chatting boho details and Santorini (where the duo first traveled and fell in love), the “A Team” stood to attention! Nira at Amber Events let us in on the process of planning an epic Grecian excursion:

Karly and I visited Greece for a proper scout trip. We interviewed what felt like the full island of vendors. Very hard work, I know. We narrowed down our selection and made decisions based on Justin + Taylor’s taste. I mean, this couple has an excellent eye for the good life: good food, good ambiance, good service, and exquisite decor. We wanted to deliver to the caliber they would be proud to share with loved ones. Almost all our vendors working on the wedding day came from Santorini!

And just WAIT until you see what that team of vendors came up with. You thought Santorini couldn’t be more beautiful? Three words for you: white orchid alter!!

The Ceremony

What’d we tell you? Fabio Zardi created a heavenly ceremony installation covered in crisp, white orchids. And that view? Welcome to Le Ciel, a restaurant venue practically made with Santorini sunsets in mind.

The Reception

Le Ciel is an all glass paradise with epic views. We wanted to incorporate the minimalistic elements the venue had to offer, so we enhanced the design by bringing in clear ghost chairs and clear glass tables. We added in custom clear menus created by Prim and Pixie—even our seating chart was clear! The glass display was set amongst the window so the blue ocean was it’s backdrop, and later the sunset.

To compliment Taylor’s boho chic style, the team brought in shaggy rugs, pillows, and driftwood for an earthy texture. The variety of patterns and textiles softened what otherwise would be an ultra modern affair.

In addition to the wedding, J+T’s 30 guests were treated to a party boat, complete with drinks, great food, swimming, and sunset, and one epic Greek brunch. Yep, these two have got the “play hard” part DOWN. Such a stunning day — all our congrats to Justin + Taylor!
