Lavender season only lasts about three weeks out of the year in Utah, but that darling duo above, Celeste + Andrew, got lucky enough to catch it for their bridal portrait session with photographer Tessa Barton. For their shoot in the lavender fields, these two were dressed to the nines and brought just a few floral extras, like a wild bouquet + beautiful flower crown. Because, really, why not let that amaze location do most of the talking, right?! Let’s have Celeste tell us a bit more about their dreamy session below, and then we can all swoon over the amazing lavender fields + pretty photos! Sound like a plan?
The Utah mountains that surround the entire lavender field gives it some sort of unexplainable feeling of beauty. Andrew and I are unique individuals with artistic views on everything, so we knew we wanted our photos to be memorable and relatable to us. My dress came in the day before the photos, we had to buy a backup suit a couple hours before the shoot because his custom suit wasn’t ready in time. My flowers were flying all over the place because I was frantic to meet the photographer on time… but it’s totally like us to make do with what we end up with and make the best of it, and the day ended up perfectly. I remember thinking he was the most handsome thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on and that I get that hunk forever! And for once, I really felt beautiful and like a real bride. So for two hours we got to frolic through a giant lavender scented field and just be happy while someone captured it. It was pretty ideal.
Oh, and let’s just consider this stunning feature today a fun sneak peek with lots more to come, because we’re going to be sharing Celeste + Andrew’s super sweet wedding in October on GWS + we kinda can’t wait!
This is a serious dream, right?!
Wasn’t that so stunning? A perfect way to end the week! We already love these two and can’t wait to share their wedding next month!
