Bohemian Wedding Inspiration (Turned Pool Party!)

Today’s shoot gives us a bad case of flower envy, since practically every vignette is dripping with the most gorgeous peonies we’ve ever seen! Photog, Danielle Poff, teamed up with the talented ladies at Freckled Floral + Spreading Lovely, and together they created an amazing boho wedding scene – which turns into a pool party reception at the end!

The Spreading Lovely crew tells us, We really wanted to capture the essence of summer – bright colors, ice cream and a pool party, to name a few! We all had a great time dreaming up the details for the shoot and Diablo Ranch was the perfect summer setting, nestled halfway up Mount Diablo in Walnut Creek. Our primary goal was to show that your wedding can both be extremely bold, beautiful, personalized, and fun, all in one…

A seriously perfect bouquet in our opinion!

While the venue itself had a beautiful view, we wanted to bring in a gorgeous macrame backdrop by Chy Parker as the centerpiece to the ceremony and add macrame details throughout the shoot to follow suit with our bohemian, summer theme. 

We love how they pieced together the tabletop items from Anthropologie to reflect their boho theme throughout.

No proper summer soirée is complete without ice cream, so inviting the Garden Creamery truck was a definite must!
