1920s-Inspired Winter Vow Renewal: Andrea + Jon

20's vow renewal inspiration

It’s hard to believe that what you’re about to see is Andrea + Jon’s real vow renewal. Whitney Werts Events did such an amaze job pulling together the details + Catalina Jean captured the setting with such attention to detail, that you’d swear it was a painstakingly planned out (and beautiful) editorial. Catalina shares, Andrea and Jon were not able to have an extravagant wedding when they got married in 2012. Though vows were exchanged and a celebration was had, they wished to infuse a bit more glamour and detail into the day. A few years later and further in love, they decided to renew their vows on their anniversary with a few close friends and make it the grand affair. Having both been interested in the decadent time of 1920s glamour and fashion, they decided to paint the renewal in tones of the time, at a historic estate first built in 1917 by A.E. Doyle. There, aside a roaring fireplace, the couple toasted to their love, and toasted past inhabitants and revelers of the space, envisioning them dancing through that very ballroom all those decades ago.

We love all of the art deco details, delish custom cocktails (we’re sharing recipes, guys!), and decadent florals by Rosemary Stafford Floral Design. But most of all, we love that Andrea + Jon finally got the celebration they have always dreamed of and so surely deserve!

Andrea was smart to enlist the talents of wardrobe stylist, Lisa, from Dressing Vintage. She looks like she stepped right out of glamorous 1920s film. And Rosemary designed her bouquet to showcase a cascading flush of textures, oversized and rich with lots of detail. We are ALL about it, friends.
