Some people are lucky enough to meet “the one” early on in their lives – even if it means they don’t officially date for several years after that! This was exactly the case for Jordan and Isaac. The two met in college and Isaac instantly felt a deep connection with Jordan. Even so, it took several years for her to agree to go on a date with him! Fast forward a few more years, and the young, beautiful couple were ready to marry in a boho fairytale wedding.
The couple would wed at Sons and Daughters in Missouri – a new, upscale venue that fit their boho vibe to a T! The wedding was overflowing with personalized elements. From their unique take on bridal parties (Jordan had two!) to their grandmother as a flower girl, each element was thoughtfully curated to represent their relationship. Photographer Abby Rose perfectly captured their day in photos that will be shared in their family for a lifetime. Let’s get into this terracotta dream wedding!
Making Memories
Obsessed with these detailed wedding invitations? We are, too! These beautiful invites didn’t cost an arm and a leg either – the couple DIY’ed them on Canva!
Rethink your idea of getting-ready outfits. Don’t think robes are the right fit for your bridal party? Try out these super cute black slip dresses instead!
Jordan and her mother shared a tender moment while getting ready for the big day. Just wait till we share the dress deets!
Jordan’s mother inscribed a handkerchief with a sweet letter to her daughter reminding the bride that her mother will always be in her life – even after becoming a wife.
Jordan also shared an absolutely adorable first look with her father. He looks so happy to see his girl as a bride!
The couple elected to share a first touch leading up to the ceremony. It’s the perfect way to ease the nerves and have a moment together without spoiling their looks!
Bridesmaids and Besties
Jordan is a social butterfly and wanted to ensure she could include all of her closest friends in a meaningful way. With that being said, the traditional bridal party setup wasn’t sufficient for what Jordan was looking for. Instead, she decided to have two bridal parties! These lovely ladies in terracotta were Jordan’s bridesmaids, while another group of ladies dressed in yellow were dubbed the “bride’s besties.” What a fun and unique idea!
Jordan’s besties looked absolutely stunning and complimented her look perfectly. The besties’ responsibilities were to greet incoming guests, get the party started on the dancefloor, and help Jordan feel as comfortable as possible throughout the night.
Let’s talk dress deets! Jordan wore a boho lacey dress by Justin Alexander. Not only that – but it has gorgeous, billowing sleeves! Her dress was then beautifully accessorized with a beautiful pampas grass bouquet. The bouquet was also another DIY project!
Lookin’ sharp, fellas! Isaac’s groomsmen wore crisp tan suits while he donned sleek brown attire.
The Road to Marriage
The ceremony space was customized with an aisle of eclectic bohemian rugs. White benches for guests to be seated on made for a clean, minimalistic space.
One of my favorite memories from the day is the Flower Grandma - aka Gammy! Isaac walked Gammy (Jordan's grandma) down the aisle as she threw petals. It was the sweetest moment!
Religion is a significant part of Isaac and Jordan’s relationship. On their wedding day, they opted to take communion together and have their closest family and friends pray over them together.
Finally, husband and wife!
The pups weren’t excluded from the big day! The couple’s pets were included in the festivities and looked oh-so-adorable.
Jordan showed off her stunning wings while posing with her now-husband. These two sure make a gorgeous couple!
Dancing the Night Away
The couple set up a beautiful entrance with pampas grass, a wooden nightstand, and a terracotta seating chart.
1) Hiring your dream photographer is WORTH IT!
2) Grandmas make the cutest flower girls. :)
FUN FACT: Jordan is a dancer! Besides having been a 2-time national champion with her college dance team, she has since become a Kansas City Chief’s cheerleader. Needless to say, dancing was a huge part of the wedding reception!
Congratulations to Jordan and Isaac on your amazing wedding day!
