I love this trend for your wedding day fashion! Inspired by past beauties such as Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O., this trend is back for brides looking to add a bit of vintage prettiness. Some of my recent favorite brides sporting this trend …
Gorgeous bride above from this wedding by Sloan Photographers and the lovely bride below from this wedding by W Scott Chester Photography.
We shared the wedding from the bride above here (photo by Wildflowers Photography) and the lovely bride below here (photo below by Benj Haisch)
Pretty bohemian bride above from this desert love shoot photographed by Simply Bloom. I also love having all your pretty bridesmaids in gloves as this photo below from Jonathan Canlas.
Maybe change it up a bit with black gloves like this bride did in this styled shoot we shared here (photo by Heather Kincaid) or this photo by Jose Villa seen here
Wondering where to find these pretty vintage lace gloves? Well, I would recommend searching ebay and etsy for “vintage lace gloves” – lots popped up there. Or try La Craisa – they have a great collection in different colors at reasonable prices. My current favorites I found are sold by BHLDN (below on left) and the pair on the right are quite lovely also, from Which Goose. Anyone planning to wear lace gloves for your wedding day?
This is really, really, really, really badass.
I would love to see a Royal-blue ballgown bride with black fingerless riding gloves.
Beee-autiful! Thanks for the images Jen!
oooh i am loving this lacy gloves. they are super cute!
Lace gloves work because they’re timeless and you can rock them whether you’re a classic or more edgy bride. Plus they just look damn good!
I love this! I am getting married in 3 weeks and are looking for ivory lace gloves for my three bridesmaids! I can’t find gloves anywhere, I’m in Australia any help??
The lacy crocheted ones are so pretty…but the black ones have a chic edginess all their own!
what a great trend! and a wonderful way to incorporate “something old”
all of these images are beautiful!
@ Rach – Etsy has quite a few options – I believe they have new & vintage lace gloves. Do you have any antique stores in your area? I’ve found quite a selection in my local stores. Also, I’ll bet you’ll find a vendor in Australia that carries them if you do a Google search…good luck!
I love these gloves, they are pretty yet edgy, modern yet timeless.
LOVING this trend. Featured this article on my blog….fantastic!! Love your posts!!
Hello!
I love browsing your blog/website! Any idea who makes the dress above that is blue on top and cream on the bottom? (6/11/11 entry) I’m a second time bride and this dress would be absolutely perfect!
Thanks in advance for your time!
Krysta
Hi Krysta-
That dress is vintage and was from Shareen Vintage here in LA.

You could check there for a similar dress – best of luck!

Hi
I LOVE the gloves that the bride is wearing in the top picture – exactly what I have been looking for. Does anyone know where they are from?
Thank you :-)
I really like the idea of fusing the antique lace with the modern as a theme for a wedding.
Hi Jen,
I stumbled upon your site and I have absolutely fallen in love with the gloves worn by Julia (the image by Benj Haisch). Do you have any way of finding out where she got them? I would be most grateful!
Thanks so much!
