It’s true, inspiration can come from anywhere. One of my favorite places though, is in nature. So much beauty out there to be inspired by! This gorgeous styled shoot was styled by Proper Measures and photographed by one of my favorite duos, Simply Bloom Photography. You’ll see the inspiration from this shoot comes from ferns + nature. Ferns for your ceremony decor, dessert table – and even your hair! So pretty. Oh, and if the female model looks familiar, it’s because she was on America’s Next Top Model. Fun! :)
I love outdoor ceremonies, but with Fall + Winter approaching, that isn’t practical for a lot of locations and I think this is a gorgeous way to take a simple room and decorate with some beautiful greens + candles. Super minimal + ultra romantic…
Love love this dessert table display!
Her beautiful dress is from Ivory & White in Birmingham, AL.
Flower crowns! My favorite current obsession. :)
Love that her toe nails are pale purple – super pretty!
Yep, I would like to wear a fern in my hair! And usually not a fan of bright red lipstick, but really loving it on the model.
This shoot was done as part of Simply Bloom’s latest workshop. If you’d love to learn from them and get a chance to photograph a gorgeous styled shoot under the direction of Vania + Christine, their next workshop is in Hawaii and you can learn more about it here – and that workshop will be styled by the lovely Jill La Fleur!

Love love, LOVE her short flower vintage dress. Please tell where from?! Looking for something exactly like this to wear post wedding for my special day!
Do you have more information on the lovely dresses she is wearing? That long dress is my DREAM wedding dress, honestly – I need to know exactly what it is! Thank you :)
Oh, that little short lace dress is perfection! Any more information on designer/style?
Oooh I just LOVE dessert tables! And I agree, that dress is adorable!
I love both of the dress they are goregous!
You are always grand, jen!
Wow!! Love love love! Ferns!! What a creative idea and absolutely perfect! Every shot is a stunner!
Really love the flower crown idea. Very garden-chic-whimsical. And her dresses are divine!! The lace couldn’t be a more perfect fit for these settings and the shoot/inspiration. Love!!

Absolutely beautiful ideas.
Oh well this is just too pretty! Love the flowers taped to a wall, simple and effective. Great for eco brides who can’t get married outdoors in the UK! Beautiful photography too, and I like the glam red lips with the outdoorsy look, sexes it up a bit!
That second dress is STUNNING! I would definitely wear that for a night out. Gorgeous dresses, especially paired with teh braided hair. I’m loving the mix of textures.
Love the first dress not to bulky or narrow. The neck and arm cuts are just right on her. Love any thing with lace.
A lovely shoot, and the ferns work really well!
The short dress is: Modern Trousseau “Daphne” dress, the long dress is Monique Lhuillier but I’m not sure which style? Both gorgeous!! This shoot is amazing!!!
Very beautiful & scenic photography!
