My prices begin at $3000, and most of my clients invest between $4500-6000 for a full day's package with a final album. Every wedding package includes shooting time, an online gallery/ photo lab, and all high resolution image files.
I do offer smaller packages for elopements, City Hall weddings, vow renewals, etc. Additions can include albums, guestbooks, engagement shoots, second photographers, and unique products like photo blocks, jewelry, encaustics, and more. I'm very flexible in creating a package that suits your priorities and budget.
describe your artistic style:
My goal is to capture my clients looking like the most beautiful version of themselves - natural, unposed, but radiant.
My photographs have been described as compelling, elegant, quirky, enchanting, and timeless. I love taking pictures of people, discovering lovely hidden moments between couples, and capturing sincerity in each person. I combine vintage, classic style with a modern DIY aesthetic, and take photos that will make your eyes linger.
I work with my clients to cultivate a gentle, natural and enjoyable photo session in order to stealthily create honest, beautiful photos. I will art direct when necessary, but I know that the best way to get the beautiful images with lots of personality that my clients love is through a mellow, fun collaboration - with no forced smiles or rigid posing.
On your wedding day, you will not spend hours away from your guests taking stiff photos. During your portrait session, you will not be forced to keep the same grin on your face - sometimes the most intriguing photos involve no smile at all! I have a practiced, artistic eye that helps to keep things easily moving along while getting great shots.
what inspires you?
I'm inspired by connections between people, tiny fascinating details, big blooms and lots of color. I started out studying acting and directing for the theater, but found that photography, and portraits in particular, allowed me to witness and nourish genuine relationships. I use my artistic eye to capture beauty in the exceptional of the everyday. You will often find me crawling on my knees in the mud, twisting my back into impossible positions, lifting many pounds of camera gear to get the truest photo, in the best light, possible.
what do you love about weddings?
I feel so lucky to have a job that lets me explore new, beautiful venues; photograph delicious food and gorgeous flowers; and meet and witness couples celebrating their love. I've been professionally shooting weddings for over 7 years now, and it still puts a big smile on my face!
My clients are gracious, creative and wonderful people, and we often become friends. I am so grateful for each of my amazing clients.
what's your travel policy?
I have photographed weddings in Orange County, San Diego, Portland, New York City and Upstate NY, and worked with international clients here in the Bay Area and Wine Country. I regularly shoot weddings and events from Mendocino to Monterey, although many are local to me in the Napa, Sonoma, and San Francisco areas. I am always happy to put together a quote for travel to your destination, anywhere in the world.
