Happy Monday everyone! I have a gorgeous vintage inspired shoot to share with you guys today. Sent to me from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Valerie Metrejean, a wedding planner, and Courtney Dellafiora, a photographer, put together a lovely vintage love story. Their vision included: vintage, creams and pale blues, in a rural location. The result is so lovely and I think will provide some beautiful inspirations. Thanks ladies!
Valerie also designs invitations and designed these along with the gorgeous bouquet! Yummy desserts including the stunning cake, banana pudding shots, cookies and little pecan pies all by Social Bites of Ruston.
Kate + David are so in love and so gorgeous! They make a perfect couple to model for the shoot. And I of course love the suspenders and bow tie :)
How great is that boutonniere? It was hand made by a friend of Courtney’s. The gorgeous dress is from bustle in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
How great is that scarf! Perfect statement to add something unique to your dress.
Photographer: Courtney Dellafiora
Shoot Stylist: Valerie Metrejean (Valerie is also an event planner and created the invitations + menus for this shoot )
Desserts: Heather of Social Bites of Ruston
Hair and Makeup: Courtney K. Davis of Kiki’s Consulting
Thanks Courtney and Valerie for sharing your work with us today! You can see more photos from the shoot on Courtney’s Blog.
That bouquet is to die for! It has everything: feathers, a glam brooch, and yea, flowers. I’m loving the vintage keys and camera. And I’m usually a huge fan of cardigans for the bride, but that scarf is awesome!
I absolutely love the food spread and all the little details. Fantastic!
Stunning pictures – I love all the vintage buttons as accents. Beautiful!
Thanks Jen for featuring the shoot!!
Wedding Xpert: So glad you liked the bouquet! I actually had to make it last minute from Hobby Lobby and Michael’s flowers. Our original made of real flowers just didn’t fit right.
The Brides Sash is sweet. I always Dig old corrugated metal!!
The buttons! I’d never have thought to scatter pretty buttons on the tables (and the button flower on the cake was a perfect touch). And the flower sash is just amazing. Very inspiring.
Wow!!! This is gorgeous!!! Love the invitation set and “Love Sweet Love” details!!!
really love this…
I am so liking this! It is just gorgeous. I love all the details!
This dress, who is the designer? I swear I’ve seen it before somewhere and with that sash… help me out!
I love these photos!! They’re so different and I’m a huge fan of the vintage look. Now I want to change my photo shoot idea.
I just want everything to go as magically as I have always imagined on my Big Day.
There’s a show on VH1 called Bridalbootcamp that I know I’ll be checking out when it premiers Wednesday, June 9th. On it, 10 brides-to-be will battle it out to win their dream wedding.
I’m looking forward seeing them change. It’s the motivation I need. My biggest challenge has been to slim down. I know I’m not alone and it can be done.
Absolutely gorgeous! This is somewhat the direction I’d like to go with my wedding – thanks for sharing!! And I too MUST know who that dress is by – I want a vintage-looking lace gown more than anything, and that one has all of the elements I’m looking for!
Loving the shape of that perfect white cake.
This is just gorgeous! Love the colors. And the sweet table. They did an amazing job!
xoxo

Where is the bracelet from? its beautiful!
The photographer did a fantastic job by selecting old, rustic furniture to compliment the vintage look of the photos! And wow, the horse is a nice touch :)
beautiful details! thanks for posting. What are those poofy florals called that are tucked in the blue pitchers? love them
The designer of the dress is Enzoani, and the bracelet is from Rue 21 :)
Theresa,
The reeds in the blue vase were from Michael’s!
Beautiful shoot! The dress is the Diana, by Enzoani. It’s the dress i’m wearing for our wedding in October! I love seeing it featured on someone else, it’s just gorgeous!
Valerie-
will you make/sell a bouquet that looks like that?
Also, in the pictures on the photographers’ blog I love the bride’s little knit shrug, was it handmade? where can I get one???
after seeing this blog I am going to try on the diana dress tomorrow- (I was ready to order an amsale dress)
I want all of it- the bracelet, the bouquet, the shrug-
IT’S PERFECTION!!
Can you tell me who made the brides’ sash/belt? It is stunning….so is this whole post!!
Carey
Would love to talk to you about the bouquet! Feel free to email me at [email protected].
Ladies
I will try to get details on the shrug, bracelet and sash!
Where to start… the colours are beautiful, the dress is stunning, the cake is inspired and that bouquet- wow!
The sash is with the enzoani diana dress you can get it in ivory and father grey with brown belt like pictures for around $220/250 (I found it new for $220+$27.99 shipping). I am also getting married in this dress may 2011 on curaçao on the beach. Its not a beach wedding dress but I just love lace and a vintage look. I did not buy the sash but doubting to buy it in ivory now but these pictures look so great that I don’t know anymore(brown belt doesn’t fit beach and black/ivory boyfriend and kids clothing?).
Looking al over the internet to find brides in the dress to make up my mind about the sash and found this website. I love love love the shrug and also would like to know were it came from it would be perfect for in the evening. Also love the jewelry
The couple, the dress, the details, EVERYTHING is absolutely wonderful. Just beautiful!
in loooove with the bouquet! the cake detail is also so perfect!
Stylish pictures but, to be honest, the corrugated shack grates as incongruous.
did you guys see that ring?? I love it..
I thought this post use to have a link to the etsy seller that makes the scarf used in this shoot. I want to buy one. Can you help me out with the name?

One is black, taupe and gray tones. Check it out. Also shes on Etsy.
Absolutely gorgeous, taking all these ideas into consideration for my wedding. I fell in love with the scarf, the way it is worn on the picture where the bride is by herself.. took my breath away. Where can I find it?
