Currently planning your fall wedding and looking for some vibrant + bright color inspiration for your day? Most fall weddings are dark + moody, with color schemes focusing around burgundy, deep purples, golds, and touches of black. As much as we LOVE those, not all fall weddings have to incorporate such an edgy palette. In fact, they can be bright, cheery, + colorful! Showing us just that, Danielle Poff Photography and designer Spreading Lovely, teamed up with The Ranch at Birch Creek — a new outdoor venue that’s opening soon in Livermore, CA!
From abundant florals decorating the trees, poufs instead of chairs, and a vibrant color palette, we’re pretty sure that you’ll quickly *fall* for this colorful fall wedding. Danielle shares We wanted to show that a fall wedding doesn’t have to be dark — but rather, it can be bright and colorful. We added in fall touches, but kept the overall scheme light + airy.
Ready to be inspired? Let’s look!
Silver Fox Calligraphy crafted this invitation suite which definitely set the stage for the day. Pops of turquoise + coral, along with touches of yellow? YES, please!
Spring, summer, fall… We can see this tablescape working for multiple seasons!
Anthropologie + West Elm provided all the pretty tabletop pieces.
Isn’t the way they decorated the tree incredible?! We’re taking notes from The Petal Company…
Serious WOAH.
Michaela Noelle Designs planned out the day to pure perfection!
We’ll be pinning this hairstyle by Erica at House of Cabelo for later!
The addition of the autumn leaves + berries give this bouquet just a touch of late the September/early October ambiance.
Such gorgeous lounge furniture from Pieces By Violet! Donut Savant created those tasty delights.
How perfect is this backdrop at The Ranch at Birch Creek? We love the building space, as well as the field + greenery available.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the bride’s Jessalyn Dress from BHLDN! Relaxed and casual, yet refined, too.
Hello sparkling ring by Susie Saltzman!! Oh and how fun is the groom’s shirt? It’s from Nordstrom.
Wasn’t that incredible? We think this color palette + overall theme could work for a spring, summer, or fall wedding… Perhaps even a styled engagement shoot? Let us know your thoughts below!!
A huge THANK YOU to the dream team behind this shoot!

Thanks so much for the feature! 😘
This palette is so fun! Love what you said here about mixing it up. As much fun as it is to work with those dark and moody fall options, your wedding should be about reflecting who you are not reflecting a season. This is a great way for a bright and bold couple to bring their personality into their fall wedding.
This is stunning!! My best friend just recently got engaged and I drive by this ranch on my way to work everyday! You mentioned the venue is not yet open. Do you have any idea when they will be or how to contact them?!
P.S. Im sharing this with her right now so she can fall in love with it as much as I have!
