I’ve received quite a few emails recently asking for advice on more unique wedding rings, so I thought I’d share some fun ones I’ve found recently. :) I love these below from Satomi Kawakita. Satomi Kawakita is a New York City-based jewelry designer. Her work combines an unusual organic sense of beauty with an appreciation for natural gems, minerals and metals. Each design is truly unique…
They also have great rings for the guys like these two above. (If you want to see more ideas for guys, I also love The Titan Factory.)
Catbird features lots of local designers from Brooklyn, NY. Lots of unique gorgeousness here!
The Tree Trunk Ring was inspired after Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree. It would be so sweet with your initials engraved in the side, right? Or maybe the pretty ring belong with a wee diamond couplet on one side, “loved” on the other. Win-win. :)
Artist Trina H Dee on etsy creates fun stackable rings. You can have words engraved and select from different metals and settings. Super fun!
And this last one was just sent to me from one of my twitter followers (thanks Jenna!). Fabuluster creates wedding bands that are truly unique. How about having your sweetie’s fingerprints on your ring?!! How romantic! Your honey touching you, holding your finger, always with you.
And Jenna’s rings photographed by Yorke Photography. (you can’t tell in the pic, but her wedding band also has her hubby’s fingerprint on the outside).
I love this! Thanks for sharing this perfect lil’ collection.
My guy just proposed with a ring from Catbird, and it’s perfect. It’s actually a design by Bittersweets NY, and they have a few pieces in the boutique — another amazing source for “off the beaten path” rings. :)
A little post on the ring: http://www.lovelyindeed.com/?p=25

Great post! I’ve been having the darndest time trying to find a unique wedding band. I absolutely LOVE the fingerprint ones.

I don’t usually leave comments on blogs, but I MUST sing praises to bario-neal!! http://bario-neal.com/bn/
Page made my engagement ring and my fiance and I plan on getting our wedding bands from bario-neal as well. Their collection is very organic/funky/beautiful, and Page was SO easy/fun to work with. Plus they use recycled metals and environmentally-friendly practices :-)
SO glad you posted this. I’ve been looking for a unique ring idea for my fiance everywhere! I’m going to use the thumbprint guy. =)

Love the rings in with the sweets. Kind of like when you were a kid and you’d get a toy with a sweetie :-)
my wedding band is from kate bajic, I was so happy when I found her – simple and classy, 22k gold.I love wearing it!
Love all of these, but that first one on the page is simplicity perfected!
I love it when designers/artists take something as simple as a gold band and turn it into somthing that is totally unique.
Hi! Where can you find the one above the Tree Trunk Ring? I tried checking out catbird but I can’t find it!
