This afternoon we have some gorgeous wedding inspiration based on indie, folk and bluegrass music! A bit behind the inspiration for the shoot from Erin of Papered Heart Photography:
I grew up listening to my Dad play his banjo late into the night while I would fall asleep. We wanted to show musician couples and music lovers how to incorporate vintage instruments into the decor when they are not being played. We began collecting instruments from all of our friends and the concept quickly grew into this fabulous shoot! Molly with Molly Voth Event Design and Lisa with Wish Vintage Rentals worked their magic on styling, decor, and floral. We wanted the concept to showcase our couple as traveling musicians with the airstream while using jewel toned hues of blues, greens, and golds to welcome the fall season.
We dreamt up something called a “Bell Unity Ceremony”, who knows…maybe it will catch on? We had our couple each strike a table top bell individually and then together, symbolizing their unity. Not sure if this exists, but it went well with the musical elements of the styled shoot, so we thought is was an awesome idea!
Thanks so much to all these creative artists for sharing their talents with us today! Hope it inspires some of you lovelies!

Not commonly seen this kind of wedding cake, especially cake in blue color. But it still looks tasty, I want to eat.
How unique & gorgeous. I love the Airstream too!
It’s simple but so sweet! And the Bride and her wedding dress are all beautiful.
I love the trumpet with the flowers I have looked at a few types of them can you tell me what type is in the picture !
It’s really romantic!!! What are those musical instruments? Something from this one https://musiety.com/rogue-rm-100a-overview-mandolin-for-beginners/ ? Can you play it? My father also play this musical instrument and I remember those sounds from my childhood. Just now I thought it would be great to use this for my wedding too.
