Today’s wedding was one big reunion for childhood friends, Kate (the bride), Hallie (the event planner), and Chari (the venue owner). The trio grew up in Connecticut and reconnected for Kate’s wedding, which was held at Chari’s homestead — Wolf. Feather. Honey. FARM — in Temecula! Kate + Greg are both from the East Coast and most of their family lives back there, too. However, they met in California and that’s where they’ve chosen to start their life together. So they invited their families out to experience the beauty of California and have one epic, earthy, + bohemian-inspired wedding that was a mash-up of both West Coast and East Coast styles.
The bride tells us We knew we wanted it to be outdoors, surrounded by nature, and dance under the stars. We went to see a number of venues in Northern California but didn’t vibe with anything. I decided to reach out my high school friend, Chari… and the rest is history. When we came to see Wolf. Feather. Honey. FARM for the first time, we were so taken back by the raw beauty of the entire place, we knew right away this was the spot. Not only was the property breathtaking but Chari + Craig are two of the most generous and caring souls you will ever meet. We thought… “THIS MUST BE THE PLACE”.

The sweetest!!
Stella Bloom Designs provided all the florals for the day. We’re crushing on all the greenery + pops of cream in this bouquet!
LOVE the macramé backdrop + the eclectic rugs!
The bride shares Our ceremony was magical. We were nestled in a gully surrounded by a wild desert landscape with my uncle officiating. We wrote our own vows which was by far the best thing! The ceremony was filled with so much love and tons of laughter.

How dreamy is this?!
ENJOY IT! Even during the times when you get a little overwhelmed, you only do this once so really take it all in and be present. Stay true to yourself and what you want. In the end, all of your favorite people in the world will be with you, celebrating your love for each other. That's all that matters. :)
Blue camping mugs acted as the guests’ cocktail hour glassware, and were also for them to keep. Kate + Greg are super into camping, so this fit them to a T. They’re also huge music fans, so each table was named after a venue they’ve seen a show at.
That teepee lounge is super epic. Right?!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
Details, Darling created all the sweet calligraphy signage.
Kate approached Hallie, her planner, with the desire for an earthy, bohemian-inspired vibe. However, she wanted to do something a little different than what she’d been seeing at other Southern California weddings lately… LB Event Planning tells us That’s where the mud cloth design came from! I’ve seen mud cloth pillows and throws used in home décor, but haven’t seen it incorporated into a wedding design. It was perfect for the outdoor setting.
LB Event Planning tells us We mixed blue, black, and white mud cloth to create super bohemian guest tables. We juxtaposed the classic crystal wine glasses from New England with vintage amber pressed goblets, to give off a more eclectic + less formal feeling.
All those accent pillows! We wouldn’t mind a few of those in our home…
The impromptu stroll up the hill to watch the sunset. A few guests started walking up the hill to watch the sunset as speeches were about to start... We decided to push them a little later and headed up the hill with them. Every guest at the wedding ended up at the top to watch it! We will never forget that moment!
Congrats, K+G!! For those that are in utter awe over the whole design scheme — make sure to pop back in a few hours! We’ll be sharing another installment of From Wedding to Home! This one focused around the earthy + bohemian-inspired décor of this gorgeous wedding. :)
