The Notebook is one of my most favorite movies and I was speechless when I saw the photos Blushing Bride Studio sent over from an engagement session inspired by the movie. Cindy + Jean-Nicola also love The Notebook. Oh, and Cindy just happens to look A LOT like Rachel McAdams! What a lucky girl!
I love this shoot so much, I selected it as one of My Favorite Engagement Shoots!
We chose the movie The Notebook as inspiration for our engagement photo shoot for a few reasons. For one, Jean-Nicola’s late grandparents had Alzheimer’s disease and this movie touched close to home. Also, the chemistry of the young lovers in the movie was intense! And the era is very alluring to us- the fashion and way of life. We hope that our love endures all that life will throw at us, much like Noah and Allie. Oh, and we always fall asleep hand in hand (reference to the end of the movie)…

I absolutely love this! I have yet to close the site out and its been open for several hours. I keep looking and just in awe of the whole concept, beautiful reenactment and just the image it self. Yeah, I’m a sucker for romance!

Oh my gosh – my favorite movie of all time and I am so in love with this shoot! Uuuhhh… the canoe scene… the kiss in the rain scene… the stocking scene… you nailed it!
Freaking FABULOUS, this shoot! And very on point with the details. It’s always great when the couples have actually read the book, or watched the movie…it makes the details so much more heartfelt and specific. Great post.

I LOVE these photos, especially as an inspiration from the movie!! I did a shoot like this for a friend about 6 years ago for a school project. Very fun to do!
My only critique would be that there are too few photos that focus on the husband. It looks like the photo shoot was focused around the bride looking like Rachel McAdams. Otherwise, absolutely beautiful!
