It was one glamorous, luxe, + bohemian-inspired event for Angelina + Ben’s wedding. The two were set up by Ben’s brother and Angelina’s sister (who are also a couple), so the whole day was a very intimate + family-oriented event. Angelina had a ton of chic ideas for the day, and her planner, designer, + florist extraordinaire, Ruffle Effect, made them come to fruition!
The bride shares I really like the bohemian, casual style so that definitely played into the bright colors of the flowers, my dress, overall style, and décor. Ben really wanted to wear a tux and be a little more fancy, so we compromised and he wore that killer floral tie, with brown boots to dress down his traditional tux. We also had his grandpa get ordained and perform our ceremony. He wrote out his own version of a wedding ceremony and we had no idea what it would be like until that day.
Let’s see all the sweetness captured by Jessie Schultz Photographer!

First Dance: Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton
My most memorable moment of the day was right after our first kiss. He broke down, we hugged and I wiped a tear from his face. His grandpa announced us as “Mr. and Mrs. Rivera,” and our friends and family cheered! Walking back down the aisle hand in hand seemed surreal and is a moment I will never forget. His most memorable moment was the party we got to have afterwards with our closest family and friends. All of the stress and planning was over and it was now time to enjoy the food and drinks and celebrate with our loved ones.
That fringe jacket is the coolest!
Brick, greenery, + candles. How cozy is this sweetheart table?
All those sweet treats are from Sweet and Saucy Shop.
For those planning now, once you have made a decision about something, do not go onto Pinterest and look up the thousands of other options. This goes for backdrops, bridesmaids’ dresses, and bouquets. Make a decision and stick with it! Also, make sure you have a good team surrounding you. I had my mom who kept me on budget (mostly) and kept me sane, the most supportive bridesmaids, a kick butt MOH and the crème de la crème wedding planner and photographer…my #dreamteam!
We love a good sparkler exit! Congrats A + B!!
