The Bridesmaids Wore Bright Orange at this London Rooftop Wedding

Rooftop London Wedding

Jacqui + Charlie wanted a relaxed, summer rooftop party, but with all the edge of rock ’n’ roll and something that reflected their eclectic styles… And that, my friends, is exactly what they got! Emphasizing the bride’s bright orange hair (so COOL!), the bridesmaids donned vibrant orange gowns + the reception space was brimming with orange + pink balloons. As the two met in a recording studio (when Jacqui was photographing Charlie’s band), it only made sense to incorporate all the rock ’n’ roll aspects of their life into the big day.

With a civil ceremony at Hackney Town Hall — where they lived for over 10 years, friends + family flocked to the Ace Hotel for the after party. From cheetah print, to glowing neon signs, and the most colorful cake we’ve ever seen, J+C’s wedding was perfectly them.

Holy SMOKES! How striking is this combination of bright orange dresses + silver shoes? Talk about STUNNING — especially the way they complement the bride’s super cool hair.

Jacqui shares I always knew I didn’t want to wear a traditional white wedding dress… But as a compromise for my family, I wore a white Charlie Brear gown for the day and changed into my dream Givenchy dress for the evening. (Just wait ’til you see it, it’s INCREDIBLE!)

burgundy bouquet

We fell in love with Hattie’s work at That Flower Shop — she’s the florist that works with the Ace Hotel, where we were having our reception. She went wild with our color choices; pops of purple + bright orange rounded out the bouquet of my dreams.

dotted attire

Charlie opted for a Joshua Kane suit with a micro dot pattern. How fun is this?!

The best pop of all? Jacqui’s hair, of course!! Hair stylist Muku kept her lookin’ fresh all day (and night) long.

pink heart balloons

For a fun + quirky way to decorate the reception space — why not add a bunch of heart mylar balloons?! They make for great photo props, too. ;)

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Enjoy it all, the day goes by so quickly. Set a strict budget, sometimes its easy to get carried away adding on lots of unnecessary extras.
