Love Anthropologie? What about Kinfolk Magazine? Find yourself frequenting flea markets? Do your friends jokingly call you a ‘Silverlake foodie’? The things that make up your identity + personal style – and the things that represent who you are, together, with your better half – should most definitely make an appearance at your wedding. But it can be a little tricky to translate your multitude of loves + break through the usual wedding boundaries. That’s where today’s fun editorial steps in.
Thankfully Angelena of Shindig Chic Creations, photographer Ashley Williams, and the rest of the team who crafted today’s editorial, knew this was an area where couples could use some help. She says, We have worked with so many brides that have incredible personal style, a deep appreciation for all things style. So, we wanted to incorporate these indie elements of design that were unique, offbeat and uncommon…and turn it into something that felt very personal.
We managed to assemble an incredible team of vendors that all fit into this concept so perfectly because they are all bases in the same idea. They are all part of this new-fashioned wedding revolution and want to inspire couples to create a day that is their own and reflects who they are.
P.S. We’re loving this bridal party’s style, what about you? Style roll call: Urban Outfitters, Joanna August, Amsale, 21 Men, H&M if you want to steal the look!
Those drinks from Cocktail Academy are looking pret-ty good!
The team wanted to create a tablescape that was more eclectic and brought in a variety of finishes that all worked together. We’d say they were definitely successful!
So there you have it! Lots of super lovely ways to take your favorite things – even if you don’t think they quite fit together – and incorporate them into your wedding day! Thanks so much to the talented team below for showing us how it’s done!
