According to Heather of LVL Weddings & Events, Breeann + Josh’s wedding vibes were initially inspired by a mixture of the calmness of desert plants, vibrant navajo themed prints, and their engagement photo session in Joshua Tree, CA. It was important to them that their wedding be comfortable and fun for everyone to enjoy, and they lucked out big because all of the design ideas they envisioned were executed to perfection by their loved ones (without even planning it that way)! Heather says, Once everyone heard of their amazing wedding vision, each member fell into their natural willingness to help and took charge of a project. From the bridesmaids dresses to the reception decor (think hand-sewn burlap table runners, navajo printed placemats, and mason jars full of candles and succulents!), it’s all so lovely + every handmade element feels like such a fun reflection of this super sweet duo!
Thanks so much to DnA Wylie Photography for sharing these great memories of Breeann and Josh’s day with us + congrats to the happy couple!
Breeann’s ultra vibrant bouquet is totally winning us over!
Each of the bridesmaids wore custom dresses, made by one of the bridesmaid’s mothers, from fabrics and textiles hand-picked in Mexico. Um, so cool!
And that tassel garland, hanging from the ceremony arbor, was woven together at Breeann’s bridal shower by all the ladies who attended. What a special piece to include! :)
To be honest, the mini rain shower during our ceremony was my favorite part of the wedding! The warmth and comfort I felt in those cold skies and sprinkles was unreal. To be nestled under colorful fabrics, marrying the man of my dreams, with all of our favorite people witnessing our vows, my heart was so full and nothing could have taken that away... I could have stood in that moment forever! Despite months of planning every last detail, all we really needed was LOVE to make the day ridiculously magical. The guests didn’t seem to mind the sprinkles either as the skies cleared just in time to celebrate and dance the night away under the stars, crisp air, and heating lamps! :)
Breeann wore one of our fave BHLDN pieces, the Trickling Capelet, to complement her pretty, understated dress.
Sliders or Tacos? How can you choose?! We heart the whole food-truck-at-weddings thing!
What a beautiful day! Cheers, Breeann + Josh! And best wishes for the sweetest life of love together!
